Volunteer Connection
HGB is an all-volunteer organization. Without volunteers there would be no guild. There are many volunteer opportunities within the guild:
Annual Sale
Many volunteers are required to put on the Annual Sale in November. Contact the Annual Sale Chair for information about volunteering.
Community Outreach
There are many different kinds of requests for demonstrations throughout the year.
Standing Committees
Standing Committees keep the guild running smoothly. To volunteer for the membership, library, outreach, equipment, annual sale, audit, hospitality, newsletter, yearbook, nomination, historian, Carol Strickler Scholarship, and any other standing committees, indicate your interest on the annual HGB membership form and also contact the committee chairpersons any time during the year. The incoming president appoints the chairpersons, with the exception of the annual sale co-chairs. Committee needs are also announced at meetings, in the newsletter and on the website.
